Printers: Epson L805, L800, L810, L850 with a PVC card tray (2 cards)

1. Install the printer driver

Download the driver for your exact model and Windows version from the maker’s website: Epson India support — drivers ↗. After installing, print a Windows test page once to make sure the printer works.

2. Windows Printing preferences

  1. PVC trays are fed like a CD/DVD. Shops normally print them with the Epson Stylus Photo R260 (or R290) driver, because its Printing preferences offer the CD/DVD source. Install it for your Windows version from Epson and connect it to the L805 port.
  2. Switch the printer on. Open Windows → Printers & scanners (Devices and Printers) → right-click your printer → Printing preferences.
  3. Set these options in EPSON Stylus Photo R260 — Main tab:

  2. Add to sheet lets you print two different customers’ cards on the same tray.
  3. Both sides: the software prints the front, asks you to turn the cards over, then prints the back.
  4. Print looks light? After clicking Print Card, use “Printer preferences (Windows)…” in the print preview to choose a photo / glossy paper type and High quality, or raise Print darkness.
  5. In the software click Print test card. If the print sits a little off the card, correct it with X Offset / Y Offset (mm) and print again — the values are saved.
