1. Install the printer driver
Download the driver for your exact model and Windows version from the maker’s website: Canon India support ↗. After installing, print a Windows test page once to make sure the printer works.
2. Windows Printing preferences
- Install the Canon driver for your model.
- Switch the printer on. Open Windows → Printers & scanners (Devices and Printers) → right-click your printer → Printing preferences.
- Set these options in Canon — Printing preferences:
Canon — Printing preferences - Paper size / tray
- the one you use for the PVC card tray
- Media type
- photo / glossy
- Print quality
- High
- Borderless, Fit-to-Page / scaling
- Off
3. Settings in Print Perfect Ai
- Set these options in Print Perfect Ai → App Settings → Printer & output:

- Canon
- Canon layout
- Standard, or Canon 55 × 91 mm card paper
- Select Paper Printer Name
- your Canon printer
- Print looks light? After clicking Print Card, use “Printer preferences (Windows)…” in the print preview to choose a photo / glossy paper type and High quality, or raise Print darkness.
- In the software click Print test card. If the print sits a little off the card, correct it with X Offset / Y Offset (mm) and print again — the values are saved.
